‘Se hace de noche’ translates to ‘the night is falling’ and this piece puts the blue agave – tequila’s single ingredient – in the spotlight. The plants take eight years to mature and grow strong on rich Mexican soil. Honouring its simplicity and power, Holalou also makes reference to the unique landscapes of Jalisco where blue agave grows. A place where you can appreciate the majesty of dusk falling down; a moment when both the sun and the moon can be seen from one place.

Sheet size: 29.7cm x 42cm (A3)

Please note this will not fit in a 30x40cm frame, must be A3

We’re also big on quality, so all printers, inks and paper used are museum quality and approved by the Fine Art Trade Guild. Giclée prints render deep, saturated colours with beautiful painting quality, retaining minute details and lasting for over 100 years.

Meet the Maker

HOLA LOU

Luisa Salas aka Hola Lou is a globally renowned artist, designer and muralist born and raised in México.

Lou embodies everything we love about Mexican creativity with striking, earthy compositions inspired by the vibrant colours and twisted landscapes of Mexico. We share many ideals on how this natural landscape feeds into the emotional and energetic Mexican culture - from flavours and cuisine to design and art.

By fusing tequila and art we want to encourage a more meaningful interaction with Mexico and elevate the at-home tequila experience - by connecting the appreciation of Lou’s art with the El Rayo & Tonic moment we want you to find a more considered way to enjoy tequila and to get to know Mexico.
